To compliment the chiropody service we have Ian Aitkenhead, a podiatrist with a special interest in Biomechanics. Ian applies the principles of mechanics to unravel the reasons behind many common painful problems that affect the lower limb and feet. His treatments aim to improve the efficiency of movement and restore balance when walking and running. Ian may use stretches, specific exercises or prescribe orthotic insoles to improve and resolve common foot problems.
