Q. Do I need to be referred by my GP to attend The Wimborne Clinic?
A. No. The Wimborne Clinic is an independent medical centre. We can treat anyone irrespective of who their GP is as we are not linked to any particular doctor’s practice. However in some instances you may need to get your GP to sign your medical insurance form.
Q. How do I pay for treatment at the clinic?
A. Our Terms and Conditions are clearly stated on our web site at the top of our lists of Doctor and Nurse Consultations or Treatments and Therapies. Our receptionists are happy to tell you our Terms and Conditions over the phone or send you a copy of our Price List that has these clearly printed.
Q. Do you treat people who have health insurance?
A. Yes we do. We simply ask you to provide us with all the necessary Authorisation Numbers and / or completed claim form prior to Discharge and we will undertake claiming from the insurance company on your behalf.
Q. Is it possible to speak to a therapist prior to booking an appointment to make sure I have chosen the right therapy for my particular complaint?
A. Yes it is. We welcome your enquiries and are happy to discuss the suitability of our treatments for your particular needs .All that is required is a phone call to our friendly receptionist who will arrange a call back from any of our therapists.
Q. What if I have a particular test that I would like done but it is not on your list?
A. We would ask you to call or email the particular test you would like then we would research it and get back to you with an answer as to whether it is a test we were qualified to undertake and if so would outline the price and procedure.
