How do I make an appointment?
Dr John Stephens is available on Wednesday afternoons. Appointments can be arranged by ringing reception on 01202 841000 during normal clinic hours.
Who is Dr Stephens?
Dr John Stephens is currently a Partner at the Harvey Practice. He holds dual qualifications in General Medicine (MRCP) and in General Practice (MRCGP). In addition he works as a Hospital Practitioner in Genito-Urinary Medicine at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital and also provides a GU Medicine service at The Wimborne Clinic.
How long will I have with the doctor?
Normal appointments at the Wimborne Clinic last 30 minutes. Follow up appointments are usually 15 minutes.
How much will an appointment cost?
The cost of a standard 30-minute appointment is £92. Follow up 15 minute appointments cost £46. Investigations will incur extra charges but you will only pay what the laboratory charges the clinic.
Will my NHS GP know that I have been seen at the Wimborne Clinic?
All consultations at the clinic are completely confidential. However, with your consent, a summary of your treatment can be sent to your NHS GP.
What about urgent problems?
Currently we are not able to offer an urgent out-of-hours service.
What about follow-up appointments?
These will be arranged where necessary after full discussion with yourself
