You/Your client will always be assessed by a qualified physiotherapist, personal trainer or sports therapist depending on the service you require. You/Your client will then be seen by either a qualified physiotherapist or sports therapist. Our physiotherapists are all registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and will examine and treat you/your client in line with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy’s code of practice. After examination the physiotherapist, or sports therapist will explain her/his assessment of the presenting concerns and propose treatment if appropriate, explaining what is involved, including any risks. You/your client may decline any of the treatments proposed, without prejudice. Your/your client’s consultation and treatment will usually be on a one-to-one basis (unless otherwise agreed) and in the privacy of the treatment room/cubicle or in a chosen domiciliary setting. Your/your client’s appointment/s will be scheduled according to their needs and to the best of our ability.

£64 – Initial Assessments are 30-45 minutes including documenting the findings to adhere to the legal standards of the professional body.

£64 – Follow up treatments are 30-40 minutes including documenting the findings to adhere to the legal standards of the professional body.


Clinic Appointments

If a patient is more than 15 minutes late for their scheduled appointment, it will be at the discretion of the therapist if they can be treated or not.

Payment Terrms

Payment for initial consultations for private paying individuals must be made at the time of booking. Payment for all other treatments is required at the time of treatment or within 7 days of the invoice date. Payment methods are shown on our invoice.

Insurance & Regulation

We confirm that The Wimborne Clinic hold the appropriate professional indemnity insurance in respect of you/your client’s treatment. We confirm that our Physiotherapists are regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council, and are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.


We will treat all information, facts, matters, documents and all other materials of a confidential nature which we receive or create as a result of your/your client’s treatment as confidential. All written, audio, visual and video records will be stored securely. Information shared within the treatment sessions will be treated with the strictest of confidence and at no time will this information be shared with any third parties without your consent. The Wimborne Clinic confirm that we are GDPR compliant and are registered with the Information Commissioners Office on the “Register of Data Controllers” as required by the Data Protection Act 1998. All data held by us is processed in accordance with GDPR.


Clients are required to consent to assessment and treatment. They are expected to respect the clinician during the treatment sessions. Aggressive and/or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. Additional permission will be required for audio / video recording and for the circulation of reports to other relevant professionals.


The client is free to withdraw from therapy at any time without stating a reason provided that 24hrs notice is given for any booked appointments.
